| Abstract | Fire hazard features of high-rise buildings with the specifics of their engineering and construction in the Republic of Belarus are examined. Formation stages of the national regulatory framework that determines the requirements for such buildings are identified. Problem issues requiring scientific research in the field of fire security in high-rise buildings are indicated in order to improve the regulations that already exist.
