Abstract The article presents the results of design modification of an experimental sample of the barrel fire manual universal SPRU 50/0,7. A mathematical model of motion of a fluid in a channel fire barrel, to determine the curvature of the baffle to ensure the optimal characteristics of fire barrel range of extinguishing substances, as well as consumption. Test results are given of an experimental sample of the trunk.
