| Abstract | The system of efficiency criteria of a regional system of technological safety that is the functional subsystem of a unified state system of civil protection in Ukraine have been proposed in the paper.
The regional system of technological safety has been considered as a complex organizational and technical system, which has a two-level (regional and enterprise) hierarchical structure. We considered two aspects of the effectiveness concept for the regional system of technological safety - the absolute and relative ones. To this end two formulations of optimization problems concerning increasing the system efficiency have been proposed.
In accordance with the Codex of Civil Defense of Ukraine analysis of two operation modes of a regional system of technological safety, namely everyday and emergency mode has been carried out.
Identified and formalized are private efficiency criteria of a regional system of technological safety, including the criteria of economic, budget, social and ecological efficiency, as well as the criterion of investment attractiveness.
