Milestones of the national school of rescuers firefighters training

Abstract Purpose. To analyze the stages of the creation of a national school for the training of firefighters in the BSSR and the Republic of Belarus.
Methods. The system approach, methods of analysis and generalization are applied.
Findings. A systematic presentation of the stages of formation and development of training of firefighters in the BSSR and the Republic of Belarus is given.
Application field of research. The materials presented in the article will be applied in the teaching of relevant disciplines of the humanitarian block.
Conclusions. The creation of a national school for the training of firefighters was one of the most important stages in the creation of the National Safety System of the Republic of Belarus.
