Abstract Two phases of behavior of fire tank have been considered: during slow slide in the drift and by impact of car wheels on the obstacle followed by turnover. Using Lagrange equations, the system of differential equations of motion of tank in process of overturning has been drawn up. The deformation of tyres in the horizontal plane, the rotation of body relative to the center of the roll and the movement of liquid cargo in the vessel have been taken into account. The analysis of stability of fire tank has been carried out.
